The K20A2 and K20Z1 engines in the 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S is a strung-out, high revving motor that excels in the high-end of the RPM range and uses i-VTEC to maximize torque in the mid-range. Although the original OEM exhaust system is suitable for the average street user, the performance enthusiast will always seek the highest potential from this engine.

To do so, Megan Racing now offers the High-Flow Test-Pipe with the free-flowing resonator for the Acura RSX Type-S. It is well known that the exhaust system on most cars is one of the most restrictive and power-robbing variables on any vehicle with the Catalytic Converter being a prime factor for that restriction. The Megan Racing Down-pipe eliminates the OEM Restrictive Catalytic Converter and replaces with a high-flow system that features a larger exhaust tube that finishes with an impressive 2.3" outlet to connect to your Cat-Back Exhaust System.

A complete Bolt-On part with no modifications necessary to your vehicle, featuring 100% T-304 Stainless Steel that will resist corrosion; and is polished to a mirror-like finish for that perfect Show-Car touch. Fabricated with two (2) O2 Sensor bungs to conform to the OEM fitment and OBD-II standards.

NOTE: Although O2 Sensor bungs are provided, an O2 Simulator may be required to prevent the Check-Engine Lights from illuminating.

For the 2002-2006 Acura RSX Type-S (K20A2/K20Z1) ONLY! - Applications for the Base RSX are also available.
